Gary Berzner is a Los Angeles based lawyer providing litigation and commercial transaction services in the areas of business law, real estate, employment law, social media, eCommerce, and personal injury. With 20 years experience, including 10 years experience representing technology and new media companies in a wide range of corporate, commercial and intellectual property matters, and an extensive background providing tax and financial accounting services to brick and mortar businesses, Mr. Berzner has strong business acumen and understands that even businesses that operate in the cloud must rely on grounded principles.
Mr. Berzner has been practicing law since 2000. Prior to starting his private law practice, Mr. Berzner served as General Counsel to Stickam Worldwide, Inc., where he was responsible for all in-house legal functions. For more than eight years he directed the company's legal affairs in support of the launch and worldwide operations of the Stickam social networking website which was the first social networking website to provide live-streaming video to its users, with over 10 million subscribers.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Berzner worked as a tax and financial accountant in the Controller’s office at American University, in Washington, DC; and at a number of CPA firms in Washington, DC and Los Angeles.
Mr. Berzner holds a J.D. degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland.
